💡Every time I’ve ever done *anything* that stretched me to a new and exciting level, I’ve learned that I may experience some kind of discomfort.
It use to show up in different ways: a pit in my stomach, talking too fast, self-doubt, comparison syndrome, etc etc
This goes for many moments: my first TV live shot, launching my first coaching program, my decision to be a coach, my first paid speaking gig, the first time I *hired* a coach (and put it on a credit card😮), the decision to study abroad where I knew no one, packing my Honda and moving 9 hours south to my first TV job, etc etc
Each single thing ^^^ has stretched me beyond my imagination (great!) but initially I felt all kinds of emotions…
♻️Why do I share this with you?
If you’re feeling uncomfortable in personal development, it’s probably a sign that you’re pushing against your comfort zone — and just about to have a breakthrough.
In my experience, the biggest tension is just *before* the breakthrough.
That’s why you can’t give up when the going gets tough👇🏾
It’s totally normal to feel uncomfortable. It’s OK.
Accept that it’s part of the process, take a deep breath, seek the help you need to get you to the next step and do your best.
Remember: there’s a reason why not everyone is visible and speaking on stages and sharing their story
It takes chutzpah 😉
